What is Philosophy?

Philosophy is the science that wants us to think about and understand how and why we live.
It trys to teach us not to be satisfied with short answers and make our prooves without a gap.
We should have a free mind and be not caught in the cage of our society which means that we don't take life as it is but question the norms and rules of our age.
Philosophy tries to find answers to questions like
"How does a good life look like?"
"What is truth?"
"How can I know who I am?"
"Why should I be good?"
"What are feelings?"
"What is freedom?"
"How does my brain work?"
The goal of philosophy is not to make us all believe in the same, but make us find an own way of thinking.

Sciences and Religion


What is the connection between sciences and religion?

The human being has always wanted to know where the world comes from and find out more about the forces of nature.
Erlier, when people didn't have that good possibilities for own scientifically researches they still needed an explanation for their own existence and that's what we call religion.
Later people found logical explanations for different facts like for example thunderstorms or earthquakes, but still there are some questions that will never be solved by logical explanations.
Basicly I think that religion and sciences have the same goal,
Both of them want to give us answers and explain.
The difference is that the religion, unlike sciences tries to give us confidence.
